‘Invoking Absence’ refers to new animist narratives which acknowledge and learn from indigenous thinking and incorporate ancient and contemporary Western pagan ways. It looks to include the entities and agents obfuscated by time and instrumentalist narratives as part of an ecological understanding of place and places.
