This show focuses on music, and the wealth of iconography and social structures supporting music cultures. Providing access to resonant public and private experiences, for reference, critique and commentary music can become a plentiful source of inspiration for the visual arts. Viewed collectively, the work of these three international artists Rose Eken (Denmark), Juan Pablo Echeverri (Columbia) and Yason Banal (Philippines) which has been inspired by music transforms everyday and historic worlds into the realm of the metafictive. Adapted through drawing, sculpture, installation, photography, film and performance these artists address the devices of fiction, exploring the intersection between narrative and the construction of fictional illusions. Curating the show are Charlie Fellowes and Geoff Hore Fazan who work under the title Fellowes & Pheasant. For more information see www.fellowesandpheasant.com
