In her vibrant abstract paintings, Lesley explores the materiality and spirituality of life with a perpetual interest in order and disorder, heat, light, energy and flux. She draws inspiration from scientific theories such as chaos theory and superstring theory as well as from her study visits to India, Laos and Cambodia.
