Life drawing sessions are back at the Broadway Gallery on Wednesday evenings from 7 – 9pm. Each week you will be set a different activity to challenge the way you think and feel about drawing. Sessions are designed for those looking to build their skills and develop their practice. Basic materials will be available, but you are encouraged to bring your own.
Helena is a painter whose practice focuses on the human figure and attempts to combine an accessible narrative with abstract visual invention. Much of her work explores the more poetic aspects of domestic life and personal experience. She has exhibited locally and in London. After a Foundation Course at St Albans College of Art, Helena studied Art History at Cambridge University. She worked as a Script Editor and Producer in TV drama for ten years before returning to painting. She completed a Fine Art MA at University of Hertfordshire in 2017. She is currently a Visiting Lecturer in Fine Art at UH.
