Preview Fri 23rd Jan, 6-8pm.This exhibition combines presentation, debate and making on the themes of art, life and death. A new video work will be juxtaposed with historical artworks in the gallery. The artists will be present in the space producing work through dialogic reflection on the exhibition and its themes. ‘LIFE IS OVER! If you want it’ derives from the artists’ familial experiences of death by assisted suicide. There will be a Symposium and Gallery Tour connected to this exhibition project.Exhibition Tour: Tuesday 3rd Feb, 1-2pm, extended discussion 2-3pm Tracy and Edwin in conversation with Lucy Byatt Lucy Byatt is Head of National Programmes at the Contemporary Art Society. Prior to this she was Director of Spike Island in Bristol for six years. She is interested to explore institutional structures and the way in which they can accommodate change and alternative approaches to development.
