’Light out of Dark‘ is a series of new works by SUSAN FLETCHER illuminating past occurrences and projecting future uncertainties.
Utilising objects that wear a history, Fletcher has assembled solid and fragile structures to project personal narratives, tensions and conflict that change the pieces both physically and emotionally; permitting the light to move out of the dark.
A sense of wonder and intimacy is created as aspects of the pieces are revealed and brought to light. Fletcher invites the viewer to peer in, to open and discover what is hidden amongst the visible.
