Supercollider is pleased to announce the next exhibition in the 2012 programme; LIKEABLE. The exhibition is curated by Murray O’Grady and Matilda Moors and will feature the works of 7 artists aswell as contibutions from the curators themselves. ‘Likability is innate, you’re either likable or you’re not. The exhibition concentrates on appeal. The work always manages to remain appealing even when, irritating or being reactionary. Each artist takes on the nature of the things they investigate in a non-judgmental way, gaining understanding through enthusiasm and enjoyment.’ LIKEABLE will be held at Supercollider’s Church Street location, inside FYCreatives. Additionally O’Grady and Moors have created work for Blackpool Culture Shops. This work will be situated in the window of the unit at 59 Cookson Street and has been devised by the duo to exist as both an advertisment for the exhibition as well as an artwork in its own right.
