“…tree bark, rough and furrowed, crept on upwards over their bodies, throats, faces……. Through that bark, there oozed lymph like tears……….” [Ted Hughes, Tales from Ovid]
An immersive sound and sculptural installation inspired by the transformation of girls to trees and tears to amber in Ted Hughes’ adaptation of Ovid’s Metamorphoses. As you meander through the garden, chance upon hidden voices, whispers of music and teardrop sculptures.
Held in the delightful and rarely open to the public Blue House garden
