There will be music, sound art, poetry, film, comedy, costumed theatrics and drawings. The evening is set in the Montague Arms, a traditional old boozer stuffed full of stuffed animals and other odd items collected over its long history.The evening will be part of a series of live art events curated by Frog Morris and Lee Campbell in venues across London during October. Other special live art events have been curate for Concrete and Glass, V22’s ‘Do not open this door if you can’t close it’ and The Free Art Fair. This series of one-night and two-night art shows will be temporary but none the less spectacular. The artists have been selected for their concern with process and performance rather than end-product. The artists will respond to each venue in their own idiosyncratic way.
