You are warmly invited to a picnic being held at St Martin's Church, Colchester on Saturday 27th September 2008. Whilst relaxing on a rug you will be able to see new installations and performances. Artists showing work at the Picnic include: Juliet Aster, Martin Reed, Emily Bailey, Linda Arkley, Bobby Whelan, Dot Howard, Holly Rumble, Kate Hodges, Niki Reid, Base Dance, Jamie Moakes, Mike Challis.. Some food will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own favourite picnic food to share! The picnic starts at 8pm, and is free to attend! St Martin's Church is in West Stockwell Street, Colchester, Essex, opposite Pizza Express. 'Picnic in a Church' is a new performance and networking opportunity for artists. The picnic is part of the Activator East project. The Activator scheme was initiated by New Work Network, supported by Colchester Arts Centre, Essex University and The Lakeside Theatre.
