Look Up is an online print gallery and a platform for promoting both well and lesser known artists. Our exhibition at the Walthamstow Village Window Gallery features fifteen exclusive limited edition screen prints and digital prints, one by each of the artists on our roster.
Look Up launched in July 2016 with a collection of thirty-five exclusive limited edition prints by fifteen artists including Frea Buckler and Sophie Smallhorn – both of whom featured in the 2016 Royal Academy Summer show, and Mark McClure – a Walthamstow-based artist whose geometric murals can be seen throughout E17 and further afield, including a vast public artwork in the Olympic Park.
Our launch collection also features work by: Kate Banazi – a Sydney-based printmaker with a growing reputation; Yann Brien – a French printmaker based in London; Bonnie Craig – a visual artist and designer based in Lancaster; artist, designer and ceramicist William Edmonds; silkscreen artist extraordinaire Kate Gibb; Fiona Grady – an artist who specialises in site specific installations; graphic artist and designer Chris James; graphic artist Sam Kerr; Josie Molloy – who recently completed a prestigious Printmaking Fellowship at the Royal Academy Schools; Cork-based visual artist and designer Nounua; up-and-coming graphic artist Charlie Patterson; and Supermundane, aka Rob Lowe, whose practice encompasses everything from typeface design, t-shirts and self-published books to sculptures, paintings and prints.
