This study revolves around ‘survival’.Surviving as a result of using art as a language, to make room to move, to find space and healing. The work follows the experiences of lossof a close relative and attempts to find a visual language for the traumatic turmoil of watching a loved one dying from cancer.Rebecca Woodcock is at present studying Art & Design and the University of Worcester and is in her final year. The work in this exhibition has been developed for her Independent Study and explores the issue of personal loss and bereavement.
