The Shrew Collective present: Make Do & Mend: Recycled Bags & Prayer Flags : an interactive participatory installation featuring recycled 1940s curtains made into bags for today and recycled 1940s attitude into wishes for tomorrow. Write your own prayer flag – a message of hope, an expression of something you would like to mend in your personal life – or the state of the world! Come and take part – make your own Prayer Flag for a better world and find out about ways you can re-use, re-make and recycle what you have into a better life for yourself. Participating artists: Marie Louise Williams, Jane Copeman, Jo Gomez, Susan Meyerhoff Sharples, Christine O’Reilly Wilson, Jo Swift.
