Demonstrating diversity of approaches in contemporary sculpture, the 2011 public series of exhibitions and discussions explores three distinct themes – Metropolis, Metamorphosis and Measure. Thirteen artists in total had been selected by application and Measure is the third and final exhibition in the series. Four artists feature in this show and take the viewer on a personal journey where rational thinking, evaluation and theories of existence draw upon our human understanding of the world that we exist in. Time, space, numbers and repetition are entwined together to form units, an encrypted language that when deciphered enables the viewer to gain access to a rich dialogue of visual information.
