You are invited to join us for the launch of Milestone Studios and Gallery and our first exhibition – Journey: Part One!
The studio door will be open all day – drop in between 1pm and 8:30pm to meet the team, enjoy some refreshments, and have a go at various print making techniques.
Our launch will be an opportunity for you to see the space and share ideas with us. We want to know what you would like to see in the gallery, what workshops you would like to attend or run, what projects we should be facilitating, and any other thoughts you may have.
Journey: Part One follows the artistic ventures of both Milestone’s founders, @charlieanneart and @mandypurple13. The exhibition showcases the mediums and themes we have explored as individual artists, the moments our practices have overlapped, and the different directions we have taken from there.
Accessibility:
The ground floor is all on one level, however there is a single step up to the door. We do not currently have a ramp, but we are trying to source one. We will update this when anything changes.
Travel:
For parking we recommend the Torr Top Street car park (SK22 4BS), located behind the studio, a 2 minute walk away. New Mills has two train stations with direct lines to Manchester and Sheffield, as well as regular buses.
