a-n is partnering with The Association of Women in the Arts for an event for their members – acknowledging the intrinsic connection between professional women working in the art world and artists.
The event will explore the break many women choose (or are forced to) and how this can affect career trajectory.
It will consider the impact of children, carer responsibilities and illness among other things and how artists and arts professionals can work together to make the gap years positive.
Louisa Buck, art critic and correspondent for the Art Newspaper, will be moderating a panel discussion between artists and arts professionals, followed by drinks.
