Meiso Lai’s takes inspiration from her travels around the world. She’s works are unique and are easily distinguishable. They are achieved by using different techniques and materials including: photographic prints on glass, textile hangings with hand stitching on paper, and mixed media on canvas. Nature is an important theme in her work. She is highly skillful and most imaginative in the way she captures shimmering light. Her works are poetic and lyrical, and have been beautifully crafted with deep appreciation and empathy for her subject matter.
