The Royal British of Society of Sculptors is in Bloom with a colourful sequence of opening and closing flowers created especially for the outdoor Sculpture Forecourt by Greyworld. The extra-ordinary works by this group of artists, founded by Andrew Shoben, show-off some of their additional creations for public and urban spaces with an accompanying exhibition in the Salon Gallery. Greyworld was founded by artist Andrew Shoben in 1993 in response to changing the way public spaces are utilised. “For us, public art is all about art that involves the public” Shoben. Installations by Greyworld feature in prominent public locations throughout the world, most notably The Source for the London Stock Exchange, Bloom in Bishopsgate, Invisible for Channel 4’s Big Art Project in Burnley, Urban Sketches in New York, Handrail in China, The Layer in Dublin and Monument to the Unknown Artist beside the Tate Modern. &
