Neoartists Director Lisa Moore is the latest artist to exhibit at their Corporation Street Gallery.Morphogenesis’, meaning the spontaneous creation of complex forms in nature, featuring paintings, pastels, etchings and linocuts is something of a departure for Lisa, as previously her work has concentrated on portraiture. Lisa says ‘ I felt that I wanted to develop my artistic practice in a new direction; my portraiture explored emotional subjects which were very personal to me. Looking at organic forms and researching how nature creates them has allowed me not only to explore the use of colour in my work, but also wider concerns such as our mortality and where we, as human beings, belong as part of evolution.’
