Opening Times: Open 10th and 11th December 11am-6pm Open 12th December 11am-4pm movement material showcases work by artists Marianne Shorten and Caroline Tobin. Through drawing, painting and site specific installation both artists explore the inherent narrative contained in objects, viewing situations and apparatus. Each artist explores the suggestion of movement and animation at various points of artistic production, through the emergence of subjects via static image or object. Both artists work forms its own unique narrative by using the material of the image or found object to interrupt and fragment its original state, investing a drawing, painting or sculpture with the potential for movement.
