Perching on the edge of the sofa, cup and saucer in hand. The host has left the room to get a plate of biscuits giving you the time to have a quick nose at the family portraits on the walls…’ Actor/Artist Tamzin Malleson-Mason (partner to Keith Allen) dresses her exhibition space up as a parlour and invites her audience in for a good gossip, bitch and nose about. Lust, frustration, anger, joy are some of the emotions she deals with in her paintings. The viewer may well recognize some of the characters on show, does this work expose the family secrets or is it created drama? Workshops and themed coffee mornings include Mother and her ailments, Pig killing at home, Pyjama parties and Pattern cutting.
