New Polish Poster in collaboration with Grzegoż Myćka and Polish Graphic Design Week would like to invite you to the poster exhibition and launch of BiG Poster ZIN #6
Last year during Polish Graphic Design Week in Glasgow a group of international artists created a series of posters inspired by three iconic Polish films from the communist era: ‘A Film about Killing’; ‘Knife in the Water’ and ‘Ashes and Diamonds’. They were able to use only two colours, navy blue and yellow – the official colours of the European Union flag. This led to interesting comparisons between mentioned films and Brexit and how we can find their common emotional denominator: anxiety, irritation and powerlessness in the face of adversity.
