The medium of film and video has come to play an increasingly important role in today's contemporary fine art practice. In this new touring show from the Arts Council Collection, Now Showing features six artists and six works that draw on a wide range of influences including home movies, news media, archive footage, TV documentary and mainstream cinema. The show comes to Stirling as part of a national tour. This is the only Scottish venue for the exhibition. The exhibition is a new format for a touring exhibition and will feature a different projection each week for six weeks, encouraging repeat visits and adding up to a thoughtful insight into current practice in this medium.
