Eleventh Avenue Open Studio is an exciting event to showcase the work of its resident artists; Corinne Lewis, Keith Murdoch, Sam Chorley and Terri Miles. The studio will also be hosting an exhibition of work by local artists, designers & makers. There will be locally produced products and artwork on sale for some unique Christmas gifts.The Studio was set up by East Street Arts, a contemporary arts organisation based in Leeds, in May 2012. Their mission is to assist artists in their development through their events program, membership activities, professional development and studio/facility provision.The event aims to highlight the artistic talent in the area, promoting Gateshead as a prosperous creative hub. It offers a unique opportunity to support networking between the businesses located on the Team Valley, encouraging innovative partnerships between artists and professional service providers.
