I am so pleased that you are reading as I would like to invite all readers to my Open Weekend to launch my new courses and new studio in South Shropshire. I have had a great year working with fantastic students, who have supported my teaching on a regular basis within a very ‘intimate’ studio space, but we are now looking forward to moving into a larger space and welcoming with us some new students. I am a teacher and professional textile artist with an abundance of experience and enthusiasm. I have an extensive knowledge and understanding of teaching and can motivate, enthuse and stretch both beginners and highly experienced students. I am passionate about my teaching and I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to find their own creative path. I am also a practising artist and exhibit my work both nationally and internationally. I am a member of ‘The Textile Study Group’ and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. Moor Hall is a 400 hundred-year-old farmhouse of great historical interest, situated in South Shropshire an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is an excellent place for walking, cycling, drawing and photography. Courses are mainly run by me with some new ones by excellent tutors, all practising artist within their own field.
