New sculptures by Carolyn Corfield for this event, at a Museum renowned for its specialist collections of Egyptian and Asian artefacts, are based on the symbolic role of the lotus, a common thread connecting Middle Eastern and Oriental culture. In all fourteen ceramic artists have come together to create an intriguing and diverse display of work which ranges from exquisite hand thrown pots to narrative sculpture. Do come along to a ‘Meet the Artists’ opportunity Sunday 15th November 2-4pm for a chat with these remarkably creative makers – you may even be ‘inspired’!
Open Mon- Fri 10am-5pm/Sat & Sun 12am-5pm
