These freestanding and wall based woodcarvings and ceramics by Michael Fischer present a familiar yet alternative world of creatures and objects. Aspects of manmade and everyday details are re-imagined and brought together in surreal and contrary compositions. Stylised faces and wild animals are reminiscent of folk art and evoke a fantastical presence.
