THE WHITES OF OUR EYES ARTSADMIN SUMMER SCHOOL Artsadmin would like to invite young people aged 16-25 to take part in the Artsadmin Summer Project 2010 The Whites Of Our Eyes. It is a brilliant opportunity to take part in a free four-week course to work with the artist Mark Storor to create a new artwork. SUMMER PROJECT 2010 “It’s about working together; choosing to make ourselves vulnerable and being willing to take risks.” Mark Storor Over a month the participants will have a chance to share their experiences and explore themes of identity, personal histories and collective knowledge. The work they create will be made through a series of processes, which may be physically challenging, as well as emotionally and intellectually stimulating. Activities may include storytelling, writing, drawing, painting and creating installations. At the end of the month the participants will have the chance to create an innovative and original performance piece where their ideas will form the basis of a collective work. Our 2010 summer project is open to anyone aged 16-25 interested in art and performance. The project runs from 3rd to 27th August 2010 (10am-5pm Monday to Friday).
