Nicola Dale, in collaboration with Florence Lam, will present a new 2-channel video work commissioned by the Peer to Peer festival. ‘I become a question for you’ is an improvised work through which the artists question the qualities of online connection. Using words, sounds and movement, they oscillate between communication, incomprehension, unity and isolation, striving to collaborate despite the immense physical distance between them.
Peer to Peer: UK/HK 2022 is a collaborative programme connecting visual artists and arts organisations across the UK and Hong Kong. It aims to encourage meaningful cultural exchange and forge enduring partnerships between the UK and Hong Kong’s visual arts sectors. It culminates in an online festival of international exchange and collaboration on the 26 September – 9 October, including new digital artworks, live performances, presentations and discussion. Peer to Peer: UK/HK 2022 is organised by Open Eye Gallery and University of Salford Art Collection with support from Arts Council England
