Does the hole suck or blow? – what’s that? who’s there? The gesture’s set, oh wait it’s still moving…
Slip onto a sensory carousel of ethereal mouthfeel. PerHaps Now provide room within a room to roam, so you can choose your focus and orbit your attention. In a night of gleaming sounds and lights, the troupe will aim high up with high capacity, enhanced with silver suction.
The performance takes place across both rooms with an invitation to explore the space, the story, and the experience at your preferred distance.
Be aware this performance involves flashing lights, loud sounds and partial nudity.
For January and February, performance troupe PerHaps Now have been artists in residence at NCA. Known for their innovative use of unconventional props, intense physicality, absurd humour, and clever wordplay, this dynamic performance troupe creates visually arresting and thought-provoking work.
This is the second performance in the gallery as part of their residency.
The troupe includes Jenni Mac, Amy Finch, Zoe Kendall, Edwin Li, and Lucy Heaton.
