How do the technical and artistic aspects of a live performance come together? This will be an opportunity to witness the collaborating and negotiating between choreographer, dancers, lighting designer and technical crew that are the essential preparation for a successful show.Kate Brown is a celebrated independent dance artist whose choreography is widely acclaimed for its sense of inquiry, humour and disregard for convention. Perspective brings together her recent trio of works – having begun (2004); Too late, too late! (2006); and yet (2008). For these spatially striking pieces, Brown combines improvisation and the idiosyncrasies of her impressive company of dancers with carefully crafted sequences and specially composed scores by Andrew Deakin, Jonathan Lever and Scott Smith.http://www.artsadmin.co.uk/events/event.php?id=468
