For just £3 on the door, a night of theatrical entertainment and art performance, this is part of Nottingham’s Light Night programme of events. For the second time Danse Macabre plan to invade the already atmospheric Pit and Pendulum in Nottingham and turn its cave-like cellars into sideshow booths, but this time they have travelled further afield and the curiosities are literally out-of-this-world! Daring to go where no man has gone before they have brought together a coterie of artists, performers, actors, mentalists and creative souls to present this highly entertaining event which will include the following ‘act’s: Live Alien Autopsy – have a chat with our urbane spaceman as his innards are being probed; Robot Girl – a nod to Metropolis’ Maria with a Jules Verne twist, enacted by Scarlett Daggers; The Brain – pan-dimensional entity which has taken over the body of mentalist Dee Christopher to perform feats of mind-reading and sleight-of-hand; The Oracle – time travelling seer, providing Delphic-like prognostications – acted out by Hannah Stone; Alien Wrestling – akin to the infamous Eccentrica Gullumbits of Eroticon Six these aliens are wild; Theremin Girl – live cosmic sounds beamed to you from the outer limits; Inspired by b-movies, sci-fi and Jules Verne, expect a fun-filled night of creativity.
