“Things in everyday life become invisible. It is only when they undergo modification that they once again catch our attention.” /Silvia Liebig/ In this body of work, Silvia Liebig researched photographs that depicted marginalized groups such as homeless people, starving children, people with disabilities and victims of landmines. These images were then pulled together and modified to create an outstanding and breath-taking pattern. With a special opening performance from our very own ‘socialist’ poet in a 9ft costume, this looks to be a thought provoking event. Artist: Silvia Liebig Preview: 11th Nov. 6 – 8pm.
