20 plus artists living and working together for 2 weeks, sharing skills, ideas, processing without concerns for products, working with unfamiliar materials in unfamiliar ways….using the higy successful and respected Triangle Network model, as conceived and devloped by the late Sir Anthony Caro back in the 80s. Popty means bakehouse in Welsh; Popty 2015 is the first of its kind in Wales, the first in the UK for many years. Artists from southern Africa, Wales and the UK, early to mid career, many disciplines all in one place without pressure to finish work for sale or exhibition. The public and artists especially are invited to hear them talk about their work at Oriel Q Gallery Narberth 14th October;or at Oriel Myrddin Gallery Carmarthen 16th October, or come and visit the workshop on site from 17th October daily until the final Open Day 24th October.
