Alzheimer’s and dementia affect almost a million people in the UK currently. This powerful exhibition will be looking at the challenges for people living with this awful disease and those supporting them, and on Thursday 25th July you are invited to the Private View/Opening Night of the exhibition at the Create Centre on the west side of Spike Island.

About the exhibition
By 2040, it’s projected that 1.4 million people will be living with Alzheimer’s disease. (Un)broken Memories attempts to shine a light on how it affects people, their relationships and lives, through the work of several artists across a range of media including painting, sculpture, film and photography. The exhibition runs from 22 July to 27 July, and includes two talks through the week in aid of Alzheimer’s Research UK that you can book onto via the website: https://www.createbristol.org/events-and-exhibitions/
