Following their recent visit to Folkestone and exploring the Creative Quarter Edwards approached Fourth Wall Folkestone Director, Sarah Lloyd and enquired about exhibiting.
Edwards noted “I think the street [The Old High Street, Folkestone] is pretty awesome”. The feeling was mutual as Gallery Director Lloyd had followed Pure Evil for many years.
The exhibition will be a fundraiser for Fourth Wall Folkestone, with a portion of any sales going to the running of the community organisation.
Edwards says: “I’m spending a bit more time down here with my family, so it feels nice to hook up with a cool independent gallery and do some fun art stuff”.
As part of the exhibition, ‘Pure Evil Drawing Club’ will take place at Fourth Wall Folkestone for the local community. More details can be found on the Fourth Wall Folkestone website. Visitors will also have an opportunity to watch Charles hand finish his works in the space during the show.
This exhibition will see works by Pure Evil transform Fourth Wall Folkestone, situated in Folkestone’s Creative Quarter in his first solo exhibition in Folkestone. With an impressive following on social media and global sales, this exhibition will be one spoken about for years to come.
