This is the final exhibition of the Visual Arts in Rural Communities year long residency based at Highgreen and Imi's first solo show.Raffle Tickets and Midges is a collection of book works and other items that document a Year Living North of the North Tyne.The exhibition will first be shown at Highgreen Studio, Tarset and then will be toured by bicycle to Bellingham Heritage Centre (Tue 30th Sept 1-3pm), Queen's Hall, Hexham (Wedn 1st Oct 12-3pm) and Northern Print, Ouseburn, Newcastle (Thurs 2nd 6-8pm, Fri 3rd 11-5pm, and Sat 4th 12-4pm)The exhibition will be open at Highgreen on 13th Sept with a Silent Walk starting at 1.30pm followed by opening party at 3.30 to 6pm.It is also open Sunday 14th, Friday 19th, Saturday 20th, and Sunday 21st 11-4 pm.Please see website for directions to Highgreen.All events and venues are free admission.Please call Kielder Castle to book a place on the Silent Walk and for other information about the North of Tyne and Redesdale Walking Festival 01434 250 209.For any other information call 01434 240 562
