The work of Sue Mclachlan, Bryan Lavelle and Karen Reed will be combined in this site-specific exhibition that explores ‘materials of our childhood’ and ‘revisiting education’. Tension will be drawn between materials the artists associate with their past education, for example blackboards, marker pens and chalk, and what is considered ‘high art’ today. The gallery will be transformed so that the viewer can retrace their past into their present.
