Reflection is an exhibition containing a selection of work by Artists who have graduated from the University of Teesside earlier this year. It provides an opportunity for them to return to their work after a four month period away from the pressures that always accompany the build up to a final show and to reassess where they are with their creative practice. The work on display is representative of the diverse talents and ideas that come together during the degree process and includes sculpture, painting, installation, drawing, photography and mixed media. The artists showing their work are: Ashley Jasper. Claire Morgan. Violet Horton. Jan Shaw. Jane Swinebank. Sophie Blackett. Kevin Twidale. Mark Kirkpatrick. Lesley Armitage. Janet Teasdale. Jenni Thirlwell. Lesley Brewer-Wright. John Wheeler. It’s a great opportunity to come along and get an overview of some of the emerging and exciting contemporary creative talent from the region.
