Scottish sound artist Kim Walker will be live on Free Radio SAIC talking about her art practice and her position as committee member and founder of on-line gallery Stramash Space, based in Scotland. Software, hardware, and humanware. Render is a weekly show featuring an eclectic mix sound and music with an emphasis on artifice, processed sound and audio signals. Your host, Lee Blalock, is an artist, electronic composer and SAIC MFA candidate who is curious about the connections between internal and external processes and technologies – in short, mind chatter made audible. RENDER is a weekly audio gallery and research project: very little talking, found sound, on air installations, interesting lectures and of course, some music.
