Elizabeth Veldon is a Glasgow based musician interested in improvisation, longform drone, minimalism, found sound, feedback tones and loops.For her new [RHP] CDRs project Elizabeth is exploring the life of Hildegard of Bingen, a 12th Century nun who was recently canonised by Pope Benedict XVI. Hildegard experienced intense visions through her life and was responsible for producing a great amount of music, she was in contact with the world leaders of her day including Pope Eugenius III, Frederick I Barbarossa and Saint Bernard of Clairvaux.Elizabeth has made a trilogy of works which occupy a CDR each and these works will be installed in St. Mary’s Church, Moseley for one evening only.
