Ryedale Art Fest is an exciting new showcase for Ryedale’s artists, craftsmen, galleries and studios, with exhibitions across the North Yorkshire Moors and Wolds. Take in the beautiful views as you visit open studios, ranging from a blacksmith’s workshop on a farm and a papermaking studio in leafy Dalby Forest to pottery workshops in villages. Hop aboard a steam train on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway to visit Levisham Station, where you can find the platform studio of Chris Ware, the country’s only professional Artist in Residence on a steam railway. Then visit one of the diverse galleries in Ryedale showing the work of local artists – ranging from commercial galleries to spaces in museums and bookshops.
