Bob Clayden has his latest exhibition “Shops on the Edge” . A photographic documentary exploring the corner shops of Castleford and Wakefield. The images of people, shops and streets concentrate on the life and work of a community much taken for granted. The convenience stores mixed with hairdressers and specialist shops have one thing in common and that is that they are on a corner, a window on two worlds at right angles. These images reflecting the shops and the community they serve show a part of our lives which deserves to be acknowledged and cherished.
