Zillah Puri is the ceramicist in residence at South Hill Park, this interim exhibition explores the work she has developed during the first year of her appointment. The ‘shrines’ are tributes to people, places and ideas. They are mostly figurative, some containing secret shelves in which mementos are placed, and others which invite the viewer to place their own.
