Katharine Hall has been painting in oil pastels for 23 years, while working in the UK and India, but only began exhibiting last October. This is her second exhibition and comprises 50 paintings specially selected for showing during Lent. Katharine is in attendance every day. She paints using Christian colour symbolism in landscapes, interiors, and stylised figures and portraits. Highly original in style, and dramatic in their arrangement, the paintings are nevertheless priced to allow ordinary people a chance to own a high quality original work of art. Each of the paintings is displayed and sold within a specially designed gold painted frame. 13 paintings have sold since opening on the 10th March. More details, including a portfolio of Katharine’s exhibited work to date at: www.davidebutler.co.uk (paintings can be purchased from the website). Entry to the exhibition is free. The exhibition is situated in the choir aisle of Truro Cathedral. Train station 2 minutes away and parking within ten minutes walking distance: Short Stay (3 hours) at Old Bridge Street, Truro, TR1 2A – Long Stay at Edward Street, Truro, TR1 3AJ.
