A night of live-scored artists’ short films at Northern Quarter, Huddersfield
Tuesday 16 October, 8pm (doors at 7.30pm)
Join us for an eclectic evening of short silent films, all live scored by a unique band of local improvising musicians.
We’re putting together an evening of visual delights, from early 20th century silent film to up-to-the-minute new films by local film makers and artists. Each film will be live-scored by a band of improvising musicians featuring some of the best local talent. The musicians don’t see the films beforehand – the score is created in the moment. This is improvisation on the edge!
The performance is “Pay what you decide” – it’s up to you how much to pay after you have seen the performance. All monies are then given directly to the artists.
