New “streetsketchers” / “plein air” group starting in Hastings, East Sussex. Absolutely all visual artists from everywhere are equally welcome. Free. No tuition just bring whatever you need. This is totally self-led. Simply artists getting together. We’re advertising it through Meetup for convenience as we don’t spend much time online, so if you want to keep up to date on any changes just check on Meetup, which is free to use.
The first session will be on Wednesday 3rd May.

“South Coast Skyers exists for art not commerce. We are self-led. All artists from everywhere are equally welcome. There is no tuition and no membership fee. Bring whatever you need. Adults only. Everyone is responsible for all aspects of their own health & safety.
We meet, disperse as we wish, and reconvene two hours later.
On the first Wednesday of every month we meet at 9am in Hastings Old Town, East Sussex, on Rock a Nore Road outside the front entrance of Hastings Contemporary Gallery TN34 3DW. We reconvene at 11am at Eat@TheStade for refreshments and this is a chance to discuss our work if we wish.
On the 3rd Sunday of every month we meet at 4pm at The Stade Open Space on the south (sea) side of eat@The Stade on Rock a Nore Road TN34 3DW. We reconvene at 6pm at East Hastings Angling Club, The Stade TN34 3FJ (opposite the RNLI lifeguard station) for refreshments and this is a chance to discuss our work if we wish.”
