An exhibition of Stephen Hitchin’s recent sculpture, drawings and prints will be shown at the newly opened Liverpool University, Victoria Gallery and Museum. This exhibition will open on Wednesday 4th November 2009, Private View Tuesday 3rd November. The exhibition will run till 30th January 2010. Stephen says, “My work has predominantly a strong relationship to the human condition both physical and spiritual. Recent work has been concerned with both the fragility of our bodies, relationships and the passage of time. This work has originated, in part, from a commission undertaken for Liverpool University in 2007. The resulting two sculptures ‘Kardia’ and ‘Fields of Gold’ have acted as the catalyst for a series of new sculptures.” Stephen’s website: www.stephenhitchin.com
