Stroud College has a highly successful Art Academy that has been recognised in the last three successive inspections as being “grade 1” outstanding. It has a diverse range of courses from single days to two years; from fine art, to design, music technology, multimedia and more. The element that unites this whole variety is the quality of the teaching. The staff in the Arts Academy are passionate about their own varied subjects, and totally committed to the idea of Arts education. The students have access to the wide range of facilities and workshops at the college, including; photography darkroom, 3D workshop, Mac and PC computer suites, print workshop, crafts workshop, music and video production suites, extensive Arts library and purpose built studios.
