New paintings by Carol Drofiak, Jane Hansford and Daniel Iles engage in a dialogue with text by the poet Sarah Jackson. Sarah’s new thirteen part poem ‘Wreckage’; tangles with the paintings. There is a mutual openness. There are uncanny resonances between what is conjured out of words and paint. Words do not describe paintings, nor do the paintings illustrate what the poet says. Rather there is a moving interplay between the worlds in which the paintings and text are grounded.
